Basketball, because the rookie class deserves it
2025-26 Topps Signature Class Basketball is the one to pay attention to. Two autographs per hobby box, eight packs, eight cards per pack. The checklist runs from Cooper Flagg and Dylan Harper through LeBron and Curry, so you are chasing the next class and the established names out of the same box.

The sleeper here is 2025-26 Bowman Basketball Hobby, currently marked down. Bowman is a prospecting product, which means patience. Buy it because you like being early, not because you want an instant hit.
Football, one box worth planning around
Camps have not opened yet, but the football side of the shelf is already worth a look.
2025 Topps Signature Class Football Hobby Box is the one to know about. Same family as the basketball version that has been moving all summer, and built on the same idea: signatures over volume. You are not buying it to sort base cards. You are buying it because the name on the box tells you exactly what the product is chasing.
If you collect the incoming rookie class, this is the box to be early on. Nobody regrets buying a rookie auto in July. Plenty of people regret waiting until November.
